2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or booking any of our services, you confirm
that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their
entirety.
If you are booking on behalf of a business or organisation, you warrant that you have the
authority to bind that entity to these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or
services. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
3. Bookings & Quotations
All quotes provided through our website are estimates only, unless confirmed in writing by us.
- A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of our written or email acceptance.
- We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our absolute discretion.
- Quotes are valid for 48 hours from the time of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Instant quotes generated on this website are indicative. Final pricing may vary based on
exact route, load weight, access conditions, and any additional requirements.
- Any special instructions must be provided at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee
special arrangements requested after confirmation.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed on this website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Standard Van Pricing
Our standard pricing is a flat rate of £250 + VAT
for all journeys up to and including 100 miles. For journeys exceeding 100 miles, a
per-mile charge applies beyond the 100-mile threshold as follows:
- Small Van — £2.00 per mile over 100 miles
- Medium Van — £2.50 per mile over 100 miles
- Large Van — £3.00 per mile over 100 miles
- Luton Van — £3.50 per mile over 100 miles
- Curtain Side Luton Van — £4.00 per mile over 100 miles
Payment Terms
- Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking confirmation.
- We reserve the right to require full or partial payment in advance.
- Late payments may incur an administration charge.
- We accept payment by bank transfer, card, or other agreed methods.
For European and custom deliveries, pricing is provided as a bespoke quote and may
include ferry/tunnel costs, driver accommodation, customs fees, and fuel surcharges.
5. Collection & Delivery
We will make every reasonable effort to collect and deliver within agreed timeframes. However:
- Delivery times and dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
- We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents,
mechanical breakdown, ferry/tunnel delays, or any other circumstances beyond our
reasonable control.
- In the event of an unavoidable delay, we will notify you as soon as reasonably
practicable.
- Customers must ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the agreed
address and time. Failed deliveries due to no recipient being present may incur
redelivery charges.
- Access to collection and delivery premises is the customer's responsibility.
Any delays caused by restricted access may result in additional waiting-time charges.
6. Goods, Packaging & Prohibited Items
Packaging
All goods must be properly, securely, and adequately packaged and labelled by the customer
prior to collection. We reserve the right to refuse to carry goods that we consider to be
insufficiently packaged or likely to cause damage to our vehicles or other goods.
Prohibited Items
We do not transport any of the following:
- Dangerous goods, hazardous materials, or substances classified under ADR regulations
- Explosive, flammable, corrosive, radioactive, or toxic materials
- Live animals or plants
- Illegal substances, counterfeit goods, or stolen property
- Human remains or medical waste
- Currency, negotiable instruments, or uninsured high-value items
- Perishable food or temperature-sensitive goods without prior written agreement
- Firearms, weapons, or ammunition of any kind
Carriage of any prohibited items will result in immediate termination of the booking with
no refund, and we reserve the right to report the matter to the relevant authorities.
Declaration of Goods
You must accurately declare the nature, weight, and value of goods at the time of booking.
Undeclared or misdeclared goods may void any insurance coverage and result in additional
charges.
7. Insurance & Liability
Goods in Transit Insurance
We hold Goods in Transit insurance covering goods up to £50,000
for UK deliveries. Coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of our insurance policy.
CMR Insurance
All European and international shipments are covered by CMR (Convention on the Contract for
the International Carriage of Goods by Road) insurance. CMR liability is calculated in
accordance with the CMR Convention limits.
Limitations of Liability
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss of any kind.
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the value of the goods as declared at
booking, or the applicable insurance limit, whichever is lower.
- We are not liable for damage to goods that were inadequately packaged by the customer.
- We are not liable for inherent defects or the natural deterioration of goods.
- We accept no liability for loss of profit, loss of contracts, or any business
interruption arising from delayed or failed delivery.
Claims
Any claim for loss, damage, or short delivery must be reported to us in writing within
7 days of the delivery date. Claims submitted
after this period may not be accepted. We will investigate all claims promptly and in
good faith.
8. Cancellation & Changes
- More than 24 hours before collection:
Cancellation at no charge.
- Within 24 hours of collection:
50% of the agreed booking price is payable as a cancellation fee.
- No-show on the day:
The full booking charge is payable.
- Changes to collection or delivery addresses, dates, or load details must be requested
as early as possible. Additional charges may apply for significant changes.
- We reserve the right to cancel a booking in the event of circumstances beyond our
control. In such cases, a full refund of any prepaid amount will be provided.
9. European & International Deliveries
For all deliveries outside the United Kingdom, the following additional terms apply:
- The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete customs documentation,
including commercial invoices, packing lists, and any required export/import licences.
- Any costs, fines, or delays arising from incorrect or incomplete customs documentation
are the sole responsibility of the customer.
- We can assist with GMR (Goods Movement Reference) documentation at an additional
agreed cost.
- Ferry and Eurotunnel charges are included in custom quotes only when explicitly stated.
- EU deliveries are subject to CMR Convention terms regarding liability and claims.
- We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by border controls, customs
inspections, or regulatory requirements of any country.
10. Customer Obligations
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information at the time of booking, including addresses, contact
details, and a full description of the goods.
- Ensure goods are ready for collection at the agreed time.
- Ensure safe and unobstructed access to collection and delivery premises.
- Comply with all applicable laws relating to the goods being transported.
- Not misrepresent the nature, weight, dimensions, or value of goods.
- Indemnify us against any third-party claims, fines, or costs arising from your
failure to comply with these obligations.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the
UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- We collect only the personal data necessary to process your booking and communicate
with you (name, email, phone number, and delivery addresses).
- Your data is stored securely and is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties
except where required to fulfil your booking (e.g. ferry operators, customs agents).
- You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at
any time by contacting us at
